Barnsley College Regeneration
A major element of the dramatic ‘Remaking Barnsley’ initiative, Barnsley College occupies a prime spot at the ‘gateway’ to the town. Combining several campuses into one site, this project created Barnsley’s largest new building.Suspended cradles were required for the cladding and sheeting phase of the project and these were supplied (of up to 12 metres in length) by Apollo Cradles.
Project Scope
Cradles used by Miller Construction to install cladding & sheeting on the building during the regeneration of the college.
Apollo Scope
Installation & hire of suspended access cradles & roof rigs.
Additional Points
Cradles covered with debris netting.
12 metre cradles supplied to create a large working area.
When one working position is complete, Apollo Cradles operatives move the roof rigs and cradlse to the next required working position.
