Coventry University Building

The Engineering and Computing Facility at Coventry University is a landmark facility designed to inspire the next generation of engineers. Inside, it features lecture theatres, workshops, and classrooms that foster innovation and learning.

This state-of-the-art building incorporates natural ventilation and sustainable construction technologies throughout its design. To achieve its distinctive angled façade, bespoke façade specialists Mero Schmidlin partnered with Apollo Cradles, who supplied advanced mast climbers for the project.

Because the building’s sides are formed from acute and obtuse angles, Apollo provided custom-engineered angled mast climbers. These ensured safe, efficient access for cladding installation while meeting the complex geometric demands of the structure.
