Tamworth Towers
Located in the Old Trafford district of Manchester, Tamworth Towers were originally built in the late 1960s to replace outdated Victorian housing.
As part of a major regeneration scheme, four of the towers were demolished, while the remaining three underwent an £8.5m sustainable refurbishment and development programme.
The project included the installation of new external cladding, weather protection, and external wall insulation, alongside energy-efficient glazing to significantly enhance both the performance and visual appeal of the buildings.
To deliver these improvements efficiently and safely, Apollo supplied mast climbers, providing the most effective access solution to meet the project’s ambitious goals and timescales.
